If you’re planning your Park City summer vacation, we are so excited to welcome you to our mountain town. We have a plethora of wonderful mountain activities that might be overwhelming to navigate on your own. Well, have no fear, as that’s why we have a concierge team that is dedicated to creating a unique experience of a lifetime for you. Below we’ve shared a sample itinerary of what an epic couple of days in Park City could look like. We hope this helps get the ideas and the excitement flowing!

DAY 1

GET INDOCTRINATED INTO THE WESTERN LIFESTYLE WITH A 2 HOUR MOUNTAIN HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDE TO START YOUR TRIP OFF RIGHT!

Once settled in your Abode enjoy your first day in Park City with some adventure and one of the best views in town! Follow your guide through a lush, forested mountain trail to a stunning overlook of the Jordanelle Reservoir. You will ride through beautiful alpine meadows, aspen groves, and pine trees while enjoying breathtaking views. This ride is great for the whole family yet also keeps the experienced rider satisfied.

After your afternoon of riding in the fresh air, you’ve probably worked up an appetite. Enjoy a meal over at the High West Saloon. Grab a table under the stars, and sip on a whiskey flight highlighting their award-winning bourbons and ryes, and dine on their delicious Western fair.

DAY 2

GET YOUR FEET WET WITH A GUIDED HALF DAY FLY FISHING TOUR THIS PARK CITY SUMMER

Today you’ll be starting the day on the earlier side with a guided half-day fly fishing lesson, as we all know the early bird gets the worm aka fish! If you are staying at one of our Abodes near Main Street, grab a delicious coffee to go from Harvest or Atticus and prepare for a fun day on the river. We’re lucky here in Park City as we have one of the United States’ great “blue-ribbon”  fishing rivers nearby – The Provo. With such a quality river only minutes away, all you’ll need is a smile on your face and a skilled fishing guide to help your catch all the fish and create memories of a lifetime.

When you arrive back at your Abode take a moment to put your feet up and enjoy some quiet time before heading to lunch at Fiveseeds. This trendy spot has a great outdoor dining area with picnic tables to soak up that summer air. At FiveSeeds you’ll find great coffee, and great food as their menu is full of nourishing flavorful dishes that are crafted from the best in local, seasonal produce, with a definitive nod to the famed Australian foodie culture from where the owners hail. Satiate your appetite with their Fried Chicken Sando with crumbed chicken breast, Calabrian chili aioli, housemade dill pickles, and cabbage slaw which is to die for!

DAY 3

ENJOY THE TRAILS FROM TWO WHEELS ON A GUIDED MOUNTAIN BIKING TOUR

On day 3 head out on Park City’s world-famous mountain biking trails. Take a local mountain biking tour from an outfitter like White Pine Touring that can be customized to meet the needs of riders of all ability levels. Whether you’re working around time constraints, or simply want a taste of what Park City’s single-track has to offer, this tour is for you. Make no mistake, three hours is plenty of time for a complete mountain bike experience; which can be as leisurely or intense as you like. We suggest starting on the earlier side as it does get quite hot in the summertime here.

In the afternoon take a relaxing chair lift ride on the Town Lift and explore the trails of Park City Mountain. Meander through aspen groves and take in the views of our lush mountains. At the bottom of the Town Lift, you’ll find the charming Bridge Cafe. Grab a happy hour caipirinha at this Brazillian/American spot to cheers an amazing day 3 in Park City.

For dinner enjoy a delicious sushi dinner at Yuki Yama. Yuki Yama offers the freshest seasonal fish flown in from around the world. A contemporary mix of Japanese-inspired cuisine, featuring the best seasonal ingredients that are designed to encourage sampling and sharing at the table. Yuki Yama’s menu consists of both traditional Japanese sushi and noodle dishes, as well as more creative, modern sashimi plates and hot dishes.

DAY 4

RELAX AND REJUVENATE WITH A PRIVATE 90 MINUTE MASSAGE

End your trip with some well-needed R&R. Get pampered with a personal massage in the comfort of your Abode. Skilled, licensed professionals will arrive at your door with everything needed for a relaxing experience. This is a great way to relax, de-stress and detoxify your body, in addition to rubbing down sore muscles after a long week of physical activity in the mountains.

We hope this sample itinerary gave you some ideas on what’s available in Park City and how to structure your days when you are visiting. Please feel free to reach out and get in touch with one of our Abode concierges to help build an amazing trip where you’ll live your story for years to come.
