Volunteers will be part of an effort to manage invasive weeds at the EcoCenter and ensure the preserve is accessible to the public at all times. This is also a great opportunity to get onto areas of the nature preserve that are typically closed to visitors, giving you a new view of some spectacular local terrain. You’ll want to be sure to pack plenty of bug spray and sunscreen for this outing as well as water, snacks, work gloves, a sun hat, and closed-toe shoes. The volunteer event welcomes kids 10 and up as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
