Fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples set the stage for the release of the band’s explosive HI INFIDELITY in 1980.

Stephanie Land is an American author and public speaker. She is best known for writing Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother's Will to Survive, which was adapted to television miniseries Maid for Netflix. Land has also authored several articles about poverty in the United States.
In a thoughtful talk, Land will offer insights on what steps might right the wrongs of a system that seems built to reinforce—rather than alleviate—poverty.

Shortly after the assassination of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Mitchell was inspired to start a school that would offer children— especially those in Harlem, the community in which he was born—the opportunity to learn about dance and the allied arts.
