This event invites guests to come and create their very own scarecrows that will then be integrated into the Scarecrow Festival setup! Everything you need to create your scarecrow will be right on-site including stuffing and support beams for the final product. Of course, guests are encouraged to bring the fun extras that truly bring a scarecrow to life including clothing, shoes, props, and accessories. When your scarecrow is complete, you can pick a place to set it up along the designated trail where it will join all of the others in what makes a truly thrilling Halloween display each year. Plan on spending at least two hours at this event for which tickets can be purchased at the door and in advance. While the scarecrow creating event will be held September 30th from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, the scarecrows that are crafted will be on display at McPolin Bar through October 28th. Enjoy Fun Halloween in Park City on Historic Main Street
A top activity in Park City for families year after year is the Halloween events hosted on Historic Main Street. Acknowledged as a top Halloween celebration by the team over at Town and Leisure Magazine, this annual event is one that’s open to people and pets alike. Guests of all ages are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumed best and head over to Main Street between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to enjoy trick-or-treating at Main Street business. Merchants will be dressed up too and handing out goodies to goblins and ghosts alike. Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic on this day beginning at 2:00 pm making it a safe and secure setting to enjoy the Halloween fun! When you arrive, there is convenient parking at Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons Village, and Deer Valley Resort. Ecker Hill Park and Ride will also be functioning.
Make the Most of Basin Recreation Activities
The Celebrate the Spirits event at Basin Recreation will be on again in 20023 much to the delight of families visiting Park City this time of year! This event is open to the public at Willow Creek Park on Saturday, October 28, 2023, and there’s no cost to attend. Visitors can enjoy costume contests, activities, vendors, and on-site trick-or-treating making it a fun for all ages experience. It’s an annual area tradition you won’t want to miss out on!

Another fun way to celebrate Halloween in Park City this year is to head over to Park City Gardens and make the most of your time at the annual Haunted Forest. Located at 4459 N. Highway 224, Park City Gardens is happy to once again host this event that pairs floral beauty and spooky entertainment! Park City Gardens invites families to come together on-site during the Halloween season to take photos in the gardens and visit the Haunted Forest for a scare or two! While you can browse flowers ranging from asters to mums, there are also pumpkins and gourds to check out, grown by local farmers.
