The afternoon continues on with a full-fledged mining demonstration just across the street from City Library. The evening highlight is the Skateboard Pro Bow Jam which is a great showcase for amateur and pro skateboarders alike. Hosted the Friday and Saturday before Labor Day, Swiss Days is a Midway volunteer-organized experience complete with Swiss German food booths to explore, an outdoor craft fair to enjoy, and a traditional Swiss Parade that happens at 10:00 am the Saturday before Labor Day. Live musical entertainment is always on the lineup and a fun time is practically guaranteed! The event is located in the Midway Town Hall and festivities begin at 8:00 am each day.
